Jordanian Naval Commander visits NHQs

Islamabad – Commander Royal Jordanian NavalForces, Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat called on Chief ofNaval Staff, Pakistan Navy Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila here atNaval Headquarters on Monday.

He held detailed discussion on professional matters withhis counterpart.

A comprehensive brief on operational developments was alsogiven to the visiting dignitary.

According to a statement issued here, the Commander RoyalJordanian Naval Forces accompanied by his personal staff, is on anofficial visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Admiral MohammadAsif Sandila, Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy.

Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, he was received by AdmiralMohammad Asif Sandila, Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy.

A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy clad inceremonial dress presented him the Guard of Honour.

Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, then introduced the visitingdignitary to the Principal Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters.

Meanwhile, Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat, will alsocall on the Defence Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of StaffCommittee and Director General Maritime Technical Complex during hisvisit.

He will also call on various high ranking naval officialsbesides visiting naval units at Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat joined the RoyalJordanian Navy in 1977. Besides commanding the Royal Jordanian NavalForces, he has had the privilege to command Maintenance Battalionand Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah Military Technical College.

Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat is a graduate ofRoyal Jordanian National Defense College and Defence resourcesmanagement course from USA.

He also holds Masters Degree in Management and StrategicStudies.
