Gen.Allen to Visit Pakistan Today

Commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan Gen John Allen will arrive here Thursday in an one-day official visit, ISPR  Spokesman has confirmed PakSoldiers.Com.

The top commander will discuss “border coordination matters” with Pakistani Army chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, It is noteworthy that the ISAF Commander is coming on Pakistan Visit when the new DG ISI is visiting USA.

The visit comes at a time when tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan has reached a peak over cross-border attacks.

Afghanistan accuses Pakistani security forces of firing rockets into its territory, while Islamabad criticises Kabul for failing to stop cross-border militant attacks.

The militants have carried out at least 15 attacks on Pakistani border posts in the past one year, killing some 100 security personnel and civilians, a military official said.

  1. Afghan authorities are just telling lies as everyone knows Afghan government and officials/security forces are USA/NATO Puppets. And is making Pakistan a scapegoat and are blackmailing with the help of USA. Afghan national Army and NATO have been failed to destroy militant’s safe sanctuaries and hideouts near Afghan border area, which cause cross border infiltration and Hit & Run operations against Pakistani security check posts. As far as the cross border shelling is concerned Pakistani Military spokesman has rejected such allegations and called them baseless. NOW USA has to Do More, Otherwise NO MORE….!!!
